Wireless digital monitoring system
Smucker Manufacturing of Harrisburg, Ore., has introduced the Visionworks Wireless digital camera system to monitor farm assets, such as fuel tanks, equiment sheds and other farm buildings, and entry gates.
Unlike analog, the digital wireless system doesn't interfere with Wifi, microwave or cordless telephones.
Users can monitor their assets using a television or computer. The camera, which has a built-in microphone, can pan, tilt or zoom. It also can use infrared technology to monitor happenings in the night.
The system retails for $299, according to the release.
