Citrus disease fight goes to Congress

The U.S. citrus industry has taken its quest for additional research funding to Congress.

A trio of lawmakers from Florida, California and Texas has introduced a bill that would redirect a percentage of the tariffs paid on imported citrus products toward research on greening and other pests.
