February 05, 2010
The Coalition for Urban/Rural Environmental Stewardship has developed a six-page brochure to help growers and pesticide applicators protect honey bees and other pollinators.
Titled "Pollinators and Pesticide Stewardship," the publication promotes sound integrated pest management, or IPM, practices.
The brochure discusses the habits of honey bees and 4,000 other pollinators. It also highlights optimal application timing, pesticide choices and drift prevention.
