New diesel engine option for tractors

New Holland of New Holland, Pa., has added a 274-inch, four-cylinder diesel engine to its selections of engines available on the TS6030 high-clearance tractors.

The engine is turbocharged and intercooled for fuel efficiency, according to a news release. It runs on either standaard or biodiesel blends up to B100 that meet ASTM 6751 fuel quality standards.

In addition, the engine is Tier III emissions compliant.

The TS6030 is available with a choice of three transmissions, including two creeper transmissions.

It has a crop clearance of up to 30 inches at the drawbar, and axles adjust from 72 to 84 inches to accommodate varying bed widths.
