Published: February, 24 2010

The Environmental Protection Agency has approved the addition of more than 200 crops to the labels of Altacor and Coragen insecticides from Wilmington, Del.-based DuPont Crop Protection.

Both chemicals belong to the rynaxypyr group and target lepidoptera, the order of butterflies and moths. Coragen is labeled for use on field crops, fruiting vegetables, Brassicas, cucurbits and strawberries; Altacor for permanent crops.

Added to the Altacor label were uses on citrus and caneberries.

The Coragen label additions included sweet corn, snap beans and strawberries.
